News 2007 ORCIAVERDE BECOMES ORGANIC FARM Thanks to love for nature and to pertinent work, Orciaverde becomes organic farm. Becoming organic farm involves the obligation to respect European laws (Reg. CEE 2092/91) which provide for: - not to use chemical supplies, such as fertilizers, herbicides, etc., but natural dung, like compost. - to reduce to a minimum substances sent to soil, air, and water, in order to limit pollution. - to sustain the quality of soil - not to use GMO. Therefore, with organic agricolture, Orciaverde can: offer better products, both from the healthy and nutritional point of view, certify their production from field to table, respect the environment and reduce the pollution. |
